ALPHASHIFTBook a conversation

Shift Thinking. Shape Success.

Something on your mind?

Something you’re thinking about.

A problem you’re trying to solve.

A conversation you’re not quite sure how to have.

Or perhaps just a feeling that something needs to move.

You don’t necessarily know what it is.

And that’s okay.

This page is a darkroom. Everything is already legible. When something catches your eye, develop it and it collects into a contact sheet you carry to the conversation.

the missing piece

Sometimes, you already know enough.

Yet there’s still a missing piece.

Something you can’t quite put your finger on.

It could be a conversation.

A different perspective.

A small decision.

Or simply seeing something you thought you knew in a different way.

Locked client sketchnote: a person crosses a river on black boulders that stand for what is already known, with three coloured boulders as possible missing pieces and a crocodile watching.
Chetan’s own sketch, locked original. The missing piece is one of several.

Maybe it starts with a better question.

Or a clearer observation.

Perhaps you see a possibility you hadn’t considered.

Perhaps you decide to do something differently.

And that’s where the shift begins.

Make the shift.

Not everything needs a new plan.

Sometimes, it needs a new way of looking at the old one.

A thought becomes a possibility.

A possibility becomes a decision.

A decision becomes action.

Small shifts can change what happens next.

Locked client sketchnote: a thought becomes a light bulb, then the person runs holding the bulb, thought to insight to action.
Locked original. The shift is not complete at the ‘aha’; something is done with it.

what Alpha Shift is about

That’s what Alpha Shift is about.

Creating the space to explore.

To think differently.

To see more clearly.

To find what matters.

And then to do something about it.

How we work

It might begin with a conversation.

It might be a workshop that gets people thinking and doing.

It might be a deeper journey with a leader, a team or an organisation.

Or it might be something we haven’t put into a box yet.

We start where you are.

a brief introduction

I’m Chetan.

I’ve spent my career moving between banking, fintech, marketing, education and business.

Different industries. Different challenges. Different people.

One thing has stayed constant:

Good answers don’t always come from knowing more.

Sometimes they come from looking differently.

That’s the thinking behind Alpha Shift.

Chetan · the things he tries

And then there are the things I try…

Photography took me across genres and, along the way, brought me some international recognition.

A weekend eating street food around New Delhi with three colleagues became a coffee-table book — four copies, one for each of us.

And once, mostly because it was well outside my comfort zone, I tried stand-up comedy.

One performance.

It went rather well. 😄

Different things. Same curiosity.

DEVELOPING PROOF. The premium, photography-led option: the Darkroom's warm surface (opus r3), the Proof Atlas's inspectable artefacts (codex r3), and the Register's one-open-at-a-time plate, carrying Chetan's own craft as evidence rather than decoration. It fixes the r3 darkroom's one crime directly: nothing withholds legibility. Every line reads on first paint; "develop" is additive emphasis only, an intentional click (no dwell) that sharpens a proof, draws its orange crop-marks, and collects it into the "what caught your eye" contact sheet beside the Topmate route. Secondary motif: one scrubbed sequence warms the page's rules from cool grey toward orange as you read deeper (Chetan's colour-changes-as-you-go note), with a neutral static fallback. Selective dark as frame mounts only, never a black ground. 44px targets, hero is an h1, focus managed on the programme plate. Direction by opus, R5.
